WOW.  An update so soon!!  I'm amazed, aren't you?  We hope you don't suffer a heart attack from this recent development.  We have a TON of updates.  Okay, maybe not a ton.. but some cool ones.  First off, Chris now officially has his own picture gallery and we couldn't be prouder ^_^.  We also added a link and changed up our partners in crime a little bit.  *inserts shameless plug*  You can also link to us with our new banners in that section.. ::hint hint...wink, wink, nudge, nudge, know what I mean?::--yes, we <3 Monty Python!

-We had to put in our two cents.  Concerning all the hub bub over Joel's new "haircut" as seen at the Weenie Roast:  not to worry, it is only a mohawk without gel.  Let's not freak out about it like some people at some places that shall remain nameless *cough GCNaptown cough* Please refer to our evidence that we collected at the scene of the...concert.  Note the long hair in the back and the shaved sides, this is NOT a mullet.  Joel, the no-gel rebel.  ^_^ Besides, it's all about the music!

We have been swamped here at the department!  The third was our chance to go the Civic Tour!!! It was awesome!  We'll have a review and some pictures (that we managed to get despite strict and nasty security guards)!  Look forward to that pretty soon--it includes the infamous bday spankings Benj gave MxPx's drum Yuri!

Sorry again for the lack of updates, but xX Punk Royal Tea Xx was busy with school (yesterday was her last day) and I (schair_junkie... duh!) spent the last few days getting ready for and then going to Los Angeles to see the almighty Silverchair play an awesome concert (yes I know, I'm a Silverchair freak, I have been since day one, and I always will be, so deal with it ^_~).  Anyway, I've got some updates and some news for today... YAY!! I know you must be trembling in your chuck taylor's with excitement.  So I go on... as for updates, not much, I just found an article on GC Circle Pitt, that you may have already seen, but I put up in the Interrogation section anyway... just in case.  Maybe some more updates will come this weekend, and if not definitely by next Thursday or Friday we'll have some major stuff, like our own live concert pictures and a review of their upcoming show here in the Mesa Amphitheatre on June 3, oh yeah only 4 days left!!!

News:
-Obviously, go vote on TRL for GC, because if you don't, "you suck and that's sad" (as quoted from the happy bunny)
-GC is going to be on the show Loaded (it's a show where they play like a half hour solid of videos from the particular band) on June 6th, so check it out... oh yeah that's on Fuse (formerly Much Music USA) @ 3 pm central (I think?!?)

It's been awhile, but we're still here :)  This summer should be pretty cool because we'll have a bigger chance to get all the stuff up here that we've been dying to put up.  Anyway, there isn't much of an update; we're working on uploading screencaps for The Young And The Hopeless! :)

So... sorry for the lack of updates, but as the end of the school year comes closer the amount of homework we have gets even bigger.  Right now to tie you over for a bit, we added a few new wallpapers, 5 to be exact, one for each member of GC... YES 5! We made a wallpaper for Chris, since he is pretty much permanent (woo hoo), we thought we should make him a wallpaper.   We fixed some of the font size issues on the pages too :D

Alright, you may not have noticed, but over the past few days, we've been uploading screen caps for almost all of the music videos... In fact the only one that we don't have done yet is "The Click" which will most likely be coming your way within the next few days.  Who knows why, but we've been on a screen cap kick lately.  We'll be having other stuff coming your way soon... it's just a matter of balancing school with working on the site, it's hard to do, so be patient.

Woo Hoo!  We finally got the issue of Rolling Stone!  Who knows why the stores around here took forever to get it.  In any case, we put the article up and a picture.  The rest of the Rolling Stone pictures will probably go up in a few days.  There's a lot of updates and news this time, so bear with me.

-Although the video for Girls & Boys STILL isn't released in the US, it's in England.. and now available on the internet!!  There's two options: the bigger mpeg file (right click save as) or the smaller size file.  (Thanks to TYATH & GCNaptown) The video is hilarious so check it out!
-On that note, we made and posted screen captures in the Evidence/Pictures in the new screen caps section (imagine that)!

Still no RS... it's starting to get old here. Anyway in the meantime I realized we hadn't posted the stuff out of the new Spin magazine.  Benji and Joel give relationship advice in this little column, it's funny, but I don't think it's very reliable advice for the most part, oh well. It's still fun to read so ENJOY!

Not much of an update right now, but there will be some this weekend... WE PROMISE ^_^; really we will. It's just hard to do anything during the week with school and all. Anyway the only thing done today was we changed the navigation on the bottom of the screen, we found that on some pages, the navigation bar was completely cut off and hard to read... we do believe the problem has been fixed now.  

On another note, the Rolling Stone with GC on the cover did come out today, but don't be frustrated if you went to your local store and couldn't find it... We don't know why, but apparently some areas didn't get the RS issue today (who knows why). We encountered this problem, and we even went to a handful of places to see if they had it, but to no avail. Anyway we get the issue you can be sure we will put up the article along with scans of the pictures in it.  Well that's it for now.

***FYI***... TRL presents Total Rock Live is actually going to air on Thursday April 10 at 6:30pm eastern time... not today.. Just so you don't freak out if you can't find it on today... that's because it isn't on today.. Okay that's it... We here at the department have decided to stop consuming coffee.  We've been moved by Joel's inspirational show, Tea Time.  Yes, Tea Time.  OKAY, not really.  You're probably thinking, WTH is wrong with these people?! Well, yet again, we had a little too much fun and let our creativity get away from ourselves.  Thus, the new wallpaper.  You'll have to go check it out in the Propaganda/Media section.  Enjoy ^_^  Since it took a little while to make it, there's no other significant updates.  We are updating how the site looks overall though..so look out for that.  As for news:

We're thinking that the theme is like the movie Shallow Hal.  For those who haven't seen the movie: if someone is a bad person on the inside, it's reflected on how they look on the outside.  

As for updates, there isn't many.  We finally got around to putting something where the HQ section was... Sorry for the lack of updates lately.  The Spring Break backlash has been horrible.  Anyway, there isn't much of an update, except a new wallpaper (under the Propaganda/Media section)!  Hopefully that will hold you over until the next update which will be by the weekend, if not sooner!! ^_^  Not much in the realm of GC news, except that they are on the verge of retirement so vote for them on TRL -->  VOTE ONLINE NOW!!!ar future.

Sadly, the US War on Iraq has started.  Benji & Joel were not hosting TRL today, but they did make an appearance and statement about the War.  It was kind of strange to see the "serious side."  If you didn't catch it, they pretty much said that they support their country and troops, but are sad that the government seemed to ignore all protests and pleas for peace.  Despite the seriousness, Benji managed to keep it light hearted/bring comedic relief and make us at the dept. crack a smile/laugh when he said "I think I have a picture that might offer some relief for everyone"... it was a picture of a cute kitten inside a jean jacket pocket (ah, leave it to Benji & Joel ^_^).

Woot.  GC is having even MORE tv appearances!  Benji and Joel will be co-hosting TRL next Wednesday and hosting on Thursday.  According to MTVNews, GC will be on MTV Cribs sometime in April (that should be interesting ^_~).  There's also a rumor going around that GC will be on the cover of the Rolling Stone that comes out on April 11th (but that's just a rumor for the time being!).  Just in case you don't miss anything, be sure to check the other news vvv.   Small Update to the Interrogation/Articles!  We added the Blender (Apr. '03)  Article!  (Dept. Note: More Groupie bashing in the Blender Article--ah, we love it!)  We have a LOT more articles to put up, but we need the time.  Check back next week when we're on Spring Break ^_^.

Lacking the updates, but bringing the news.  GC will be part of a show called MTV2 Presents: 22 Greatest Voices. It's supposed to air on March 15 at 2:00 pm EST.  GC will also be on SNL on April 5th so watch for that.  Other than that, Benji and Joel are supposedly (who can tell for sure anymore :p)  hosting All Things Rock on Wed. and Friday of this week (let's hope).  That's it ^_^.  Hopefully we can have enough time to update everything soon @_@!

No update, just GC News ^_^  The next single is going to be "Girls and Boys." WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!  Why are we so happy?  They've announced the tour dates, and although we love everyone on the East Coast, we couldn't be happier that GC is coming to Arizona.. and playing at the MESA AMPHITHEATRE!  Everyone who doesn't live in Arizona doesn't understand, but it is THE BEST place to have a concert.  Not too big, not too small, a stage 1 foot above the ground (not 4 or so like typical), the audience is closer to the stage than normal, and no seats so every concert HAS to be General Admission.  More than that, it's closer to the department ^_^!  Okay, now that I'm done celebrating, here are the rest of the dates and venues.. thanks to MTV News.

There isn't much of an update to the sections, but an update on news.  First, Bravenet had some technical issues earlier today.  I've noticed that some pages aren't being displayed properly because Bravenet is still trying to get all of its service back up and running so bear with us =).  

GC NEWS:  *reminder* GC will be on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno tomorrow so be sure to check that out.  As far as other tv appearances, rumor has it that the girls on MTV's Sorority Life will see a GC concert and go on the tour bus (or something to that effect) on one of the episodes.  If we get anymore info, we'll post it ^_^.   As always, don't miss All Things Rock because you never know when Benj and Joel will be hosting!  (And yes, we here at the department agree with the many complaints that "Abby is annoying!!")

Finally another update!!  This time we have the "5th Degree Confessions" up!  (aka. the quotes section)  There's also updates in confidential and more links!  Good News: we're working on a completely new layout for the site to replace this old generic one.  It'll be awesome when it's done!  We here at the department highly endorse Photoshop 7, Paint Shop Pro, all Macromedia products, and all the other little goodies.

Let's just say that we got creative.  Not much of an update, just a couple of wallpapers and icons. We had fun putting that "GC Club" (Fight Club spin-off) into a wallpaper with Joel.  =)  We are working hard on getting some really cool stuff up here, but it's not done yet. Once it is, it'll be here, and it'll be GRRRRRREAAT!!!(hahaha...well we think it is anyway ^_^) That's all for now kiddies.

Sorry about not updating for a while, but now both of us are back in school. So that means we got to pay some attention to that. Anyway today we've added a few things of interest. I think they're interesting anyway. It's the Propaganda section, where you can find as of now a handful of buddy icons and a few wallpapers.  We're working on more all the time, so check back later. We'll try to update at least once a week, that's my goal anyway. Alright then, until later. ^_^

Woot for Billy's shoulder spasm! ALRIGHT!!!!! YAY!!!  Don't mind me, I just watched TRL...recorded of course ;).  Anyway, when someone says major construction, they mean it!  Well, at least we here at the department do!  Our trainees, donut-go-getters, and the like have been busy like Santa's elves to bring you the latest and greatest of Good Charlotte and the usual suspects.  We finally have our Confidential files on record (although far from complete).  These files contain the unmentionable and must be seen to be believed.  Enter at your own risk.  (oh c'mon.. don't be a baby.. we know you're dying to know what's there.. go already!  You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll be amazed.)

Okay we've uploaded a few more things, nothing too special yet, just your standard GC bios, that you can find on most GC sites. Also, some cute things that we've adopted from other sites (that's in the Most Wanted section). But soon, I promise we'll have some more interesting things... we are currently putting together a Humor section, and I think sometime soon we may start making wallpapers, icons, and other cool stuff like that... Just give us some time.

Today, I didn't do much in the ways of uploading, but we did put up the section about ourselves... So if you want to know more about the crazy kids who are putting this site together, just check it out in the Dept. Chiefs section. Also I started the Partners in Crime Section (aka Links), it doesn't have too many yet, because I'm waiting for xX PunkRoyalTea Xx to do it. Seeing as she is busy with school at the moment it may take awhile, but if you have any GC sites you know of, or have your own, send me the url, and I'll be sure to add it to the list. I've been having so much fun uploading all kinds of things... YEAH RIGHT!!! See making the website is actually fun, but uploading everything takes FOREVER!! It isn't fun in the least bit.  Well anyway I've now got the beginnings of all the incriminating evidence, right now there's only two pages for each section, but there is definitely more to come.  I also put up a new article that's from this month's A.P.  It's a good little article about Made and Level 27. Also there are a few things that were in this month's A.P. that have nothing to do with the article itself, but I thought they'd be of interest. The first is some guy who wrote in dissing GC, here's what he had to say:

I am offended and appalled that marketing, image and bad tattoos have allowed Good Charlotte to rise from being a bunch of clowns with the integrity of O-Town to having the status of "punk band." Good Charlotte was created. They are a prefabricated version of punk with no connection to the punk scene at any point in their existence. The carefully placed stickers and patches, and the token spiked hair, make it seem as though Good Charlotte have some idea of what "punk" is, but these things are so devoid of meaning or originality, they just end up looking rehearsed.

Okay I really don't care if this guy likes GC or not, but this is what bothers me, first where did he get his information about GC from, it might be a good idea to check out the facts before making false accusations. Secondly, I never understood why people like to take out so much time to make fun of other people/bands... I don't get it, there are a lot of bands I don't like, but I'm not gonna waste my time writing a letter to some magazine telling them how much some band sucks. I've got better things to do, but then again I guess whatever floats your boat. If dissing other bands is how people get their jollies then by all means go right ahead I'm not gonna stop them, but that doesn't mean I can't complain about it.

Next thing that came to my attention was the various awards that GC got in the readers poll. They won Best Artist, Best CD, Best Artist Website for www.goodcharlotte.com, Artist with most Integrity, Benji was the Celebrity I'd most like to @#$%, Benji also was 3rd place for Best Dressed, Benji and Joel came in 2nd for Favorite MTV VJ (they should've been #1), and GC also came in 3rd for Biggest Sellout... then A.P. not only ruled for putting GC on the cover, but GC also got third place in the A.P. sucked for putting ____ on the cover category. I just think how it was funny they got voted for the best and worst in some categories, I guess GC must be one of those bands that you either love or hate. Not like I care or anything, I totally love them, and that's all that matters. Okay enough ranting for now, I'll get back to working on more updates for the site.

I've added a few new things, that I've been working on. This site is still nowhere near completion.  But I've started on the Benji Image Gallery... check it out under the Incriminating Evidence section, and click on Benji's picture.  There are a few pages, and I still got quite a bit more that will be coming eventually.  I'm not sure where most of these pictures came from, since it's been a while since they've been saved on my hard drive... but if any of those pictures belong to you, and you'd like credit, or you don't want it on our website, just let us know, and we'll take care of it.  We're not here to make people mad, we just want to spread the GC love. That's all I've got to say, there are sure to be many more updates in the coming days and weeks, so until then hasta la pasta.

Welcome to the GRAND OPENING (haha) of the home to Good Charlotte and the crazed fans--I mean men and women in blue--who ride on the East Coast (and WEST ;D) in an attempt to bring GC Worldwide!  We finally got around to putting this site up for the new year and updates will come when we have time to stop eating those GC donuts (or is that muffins?--see below***or was it in fact, gingerbread men?***) and do something.
